Welcome to the El Bekal Temple Guard World

The Temple Guard is one of the most active Units of El Bekal Shrine, and is prepared to serve the needs of El Bekal and the Potentate at all times. The Temple Guard is charged wih the responsibility of tiling the Center at all meetings during the transaction of business, and at all Ceremonials during the presentation of the ritual and the initiation of candidates.

Each member is expected to participate actively in all official functions, carrying out the duties assigned, driving a mini car in parades and upholding the traditions of the Unit.

One regular business meeting (at which membership attendance is required) is held each month. A fellowship dinner precedes the meeting. There are also a number of purely social events held during the year at which the wives are also invited to attend, as well as hospitality get-togethers at Ceremonials and Shrine events. These are strictly fun occasions.

Each member is required to have a uniform wardrobe, some of which is furnished by the Quartermaster. The balance must be bought and paid for by the member. Any interested Noble of El Bekal Shrine is invited to attend the monthly dinner meetings to get acquanted before submitting a petition. Visitors are welcome!
