El Bekal is one of 191 Shrine Centers in North America . Our current membership is just under ½ million men of outstanding character and moral values. The Shrine is part of the Masonic Family of organizations. Our purpose is to support our system of 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children located in North America and to provide support for our members and the members of our Masonic fraternity.
The Masons and the Masonic Fraternity are not religious or secret organizations. We believe in a Supreme Being and we are dedicated to Family, Country and our Philanthropies. We profess to make good men better. If you are a man of good character, over the age of 18 and would like to associate with others with similar interest and character, you can request a petition below, check out our calendar and events page and come to one of our events or just send an email to the Potentate or Recorder and request more information. (You do NOT have to be a Mason or a Shriner to attend our events.) You are invited to come and see what we are all about.
